We all have a role to play in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Some healthy reminders to reduce the transmission of the viral infection and to protect ourselves from getting sick.
1. Keep your hands clean! Always wash your hands.
It is important to wash your hands regularly. This is most important if you come in contact with body fluids (yours or someone else's) or any soiled objects. This simple habit can reduce the chances of being infected. Soap your hands for atleast twenty (20) seconds before you rinse. Use alcohol based hand sanitizers only in the absence of clean water and soap. Use 70% Ethyl or Isopropyl Alcohol.
2. Stay inside your home.
By staying inside your home, you limit your chances from getting exposed to those who are carriers of the virus. If by chance you are an asymptomatic carrier, then you are not spreading the infection by staying at home. If you have symptoms, call first the hospital and wait for instructions. Only wear a mask if you have symptoms.
